Somewhere along the Icefields Parkway
Alberta

I have been looking and looking to try and figure out where this was taken. I THOUGHT it was close to the entrance to the Peyto Lake parking lot, but Google Street View has proved me wrong.
If anyone recognizes this place and can find me a street view of it.. id be very happy!
According to my photos it was after bow lake and im pretty sure we were going north! hahaha


Anyways the picture, I wish the pond in the foreground and the clouds on the left had more definition but oh well it was June in the Canadian Rockies and we had rain and snow during our drive.

It looks really nice with the mountains emerging from behind the fog or cloud on the tree line. :)

I love this! It seems a bit either too yellow or a little white washed. but amazing shot!

im not sure what you are seeing. everything looks fine on my screen. there is some yellow in it, but that is the colour of the grasslands. the tree colour is also a yellow based green tone.

Lovely scene Dani, the mountains emerging are stunning :) However it all seems a tiny bit tilted to the right hand side :nod:

the horizon>? i think the clouds give that effect,, cuz they arent straight with the starting slant of the mountain side.
