The columbia icefield area is one of my favourite places in the mountains and is my favourite place in Jasper National Park.
Yesterday morning I revisited this area with fingers crossed for good sunrise light. This area's weather is soo unpredictable its always a gamble to drive the 2 hours in case sunrise doesn't show up.
This place is pure magic when sunrises like this!
