Elk in the fog
Vermillion Lakes
Banff National Park
One mornign driving through the vermillion lakes we came across a group of about 15 elk, there were about 4-5 babies. They all went up the hill beside us when we were driving through. This was perched up on this rock cliff for quite a while. I had to move sooo slow to get out of the car set up the tripod and telephoto, just hoping i could get one shot. It was times like this that i wished i had a f2.8.

The fog creates a really nice atmosphere to the photo, I really like the way the colours of the elk match those of the surroundings.
